Does anyone know a site that I can take the quiz on then have them send it to me for free. I don't have money to pay for them but I really need them both. Any help will be appreciated! if you have any answers either leave a comment or email me on brokenbabyang3l@yahoo.com

No you can't do it online. There is both a written and practical test, and with the AED now included that must be demonstrated in person. Call the Red Cross or the local hospital and explain your situation. They will be able to help you with the program you need. There are a couple of classes that are different levels. Good Luck.....e-mail me if you want further.....i'm an AHA BLS and ACLS Instructor.

There is both a written test and another test to take. The instructor needs to see you perform the steps for CPR. Why do you need to take the testing? Really getting certified online isn't accepted for jobs or anything if that is why you want to know. You gain more knowledge by going to the classes.

You have to go through the American Red Cross, I'm sure that their website has listing for certification seminars/classes, and the cost is usually less than $20 for a one day course. If you already know the information some community college courses will let you crash their test and then all you have to do is pay for the car ($7, I think) Good Luck!

There is no way to become CPR or first-aid CERTIFIED for free, although there are some on-line classes you can take free (most of them are teaching old info, however.)

You can contact your local Red Cross office and see if they can offer you a waiver for a class- some chapters can and will in some cases.
