I work for Toyota and this is what is recommended for most Toyotas:

Oil change every 5k, rotate tires]

every 15k balance tire and replace air filter

Every 30k - do the major service which includes oil change, balancing, spark plugs (unless you have platinum plugs which can be done every 60k-90K), replace engine coolant, automatic transmission drain and refill etc

Timing belts are recommended to be changed every 90K

Every manufacturer has different recommendations. If you purchase a car new, the maintenance schedule book is included in your new car purchase.

Timing belts replacement by manufacturer. Most recommend 60K. Some allow for more. The thing about the timing belt is if it breaks and you have an interference fit engine, your engine is gone. Better a little early than too late if you've got an interference fit engine.

The maintenance schedule for whatever vehicle she ends up with can be found in the owners manual included with the vehicle. That will answer all of your questions.
