There's four of us, and we need to figure out how to get someone to do our taxes(and possibly books), and how much that costs. Can anyone shed some light on both issues? We're an LLC based in California.

you need to find a CPA. there are a lot of CPAs in California.

You need someone good to do your books. It is SO important. If your taxes are easy, I would charge $750, and if they are complex it could be $1,500. You don't want to skimp too much on something so critical. You need to find a CPA. I am in the Placerville area of Northern California.

Have you tried calling a couple CPA's and asking that question? Costs will vary between accountants, and will depend on how complex your business is.
