The grass is kind of high and hard to cut. Is it going to damage my ball joints, or CV joints or rack and pinion or anything?

parking in high grass is not good for it, the grass will hold moisture and rust any metal parts it has contact with over a period of time. ball joints & cv joints are coated in grease shouldnt hurt them. but over a extended time the rubber boots will dry rot..

Check your town laws, and if you have some sort of neighborhood association, better check with them (especially if they can kick you out of the neighborhood!).

About the grass -- well, cut it first. It won't grow under the car after you park it, because there's no sunlight and no rain. And get it fixed as soon as possible.

If you don't plan on getting it fixed in the next three months (before winter comes), please consider the possibility that you don't actually need that car. Consider selling it to someone for salvage, or hauling it to the dump. Looking at a broken-down car everyday for years has got to be depressing!

Good luck with it.

Check with the city building codes. Also, if you live in a subdivision, there are usually restrictions that prevent that. It won't damage any components, unless critters get in there and start eating the wiring.

You might be a redneck if you're house is mobile but the three cars on your front lawn aren't.
