No I never have put peanut butter in the frig, I put nutts in the freezer, as they do not freeze, but stay fresh for baking a long length of time. I don't know if keeping P.B in frig would make it hard to spread or not.

The Grocery store bought peanut butter like Skippy or Kraft I put in my cupboard, and I never refrigerate it.
I only refrigerate the peanut butter I buy at the natural foods store where I grind up the peanuts myself, or the organic kind (you have to because it separates if you don't.)

Peanut butter lasts about six months without refrigerating it. I don't put peanut butter in the frig, because it doesn't last that long.

no, unless its that "all natural" peanut butter where the oil separates unless you refrigerate it. That kind you can refrigerate.

No, do you?
I think you're supposed to with the natural kind. But not like Skippy or anything.
