An organic and organic substance at the same time with fish oil would have the two an alkaline value or an acid value. no rely if it is alkaline then vinegar and lemon juice might have worked. because of the fact that this has no longer worked then you definately can use a wash utilising an alkaline at the same time with baking soda or borax interior the laundry.

Try soaking overnight in a solution of water and vinegar.... If you use your washer I'd put in an entire gallon of cheap vinegar....
We soak fish we caught in Water with Vinegar and Salt to draw out the fishy taste. Works like a charm if you don't like really fishy tasting fish.

The only thing I can think of is to let your clothes soak in a white vinegar solution. The bottle of vinegar probably has instructions--you can by huge jugs of the stuff for cleaning and putting in the rinse water of clothes and dishes.

Use a can of coca-cola and the acidic acid will help remove the fish oil that contains the smell. (I am a dry cleaner)
