I live in LA and rent is very expensive. How can I generate at least an additional $200-300 per month. My rent is $1000 for a 2 bedroom, and it makes no sense for me to get a single at $800 or a 1 bed at $900. Any suggestions? I have not found a roommate yet. Anyone know how or where I can get another job?

between school and school, work, study and sleep you do not have the available time -- keep the apt but downsize the rest of your llife style -- get rid of cable - cell phone - any other high maintenance items until you get a room mate!!!

The best way to increase your income is to look at what you are good at & the talents and skills you have already.

What type of job are you doing now? Is there an opportunity to use the same skills at your current job to freelance?

There are really good websites that are design for people to offer freelance services & bid on projects. guru.com & elance.com are two I like.

Doesn't sound like you'll have much time for a second job if you're going to school also. Keep looking for a roommate. Good luck.
