Um, have you ever felt a crocodile? It doesn't look soft or feel soft and it's 'voice' isn't soft, yet it's an animal.
Your idea about animals is very strange and really makes no sense at all.

Well certainly not all animals, including many dogs, lions, tigers, leopards, elephants, hyenas, etc They have very loud voices and not all of them are soft. One well known poet described his lady love as having hands softer than the rain. You might want to search for another way to describe what you are trying to convey. Good luck.
