I just turned 14 Aug, 3 2007 and I haven't grown since december 2006. Im about almost 4''9 my dad is 6''3 and my mom is 5''3. I got my period when I was 10 years old so its been a little after 3 years. My mom said she got hers when she was 12 and she told me she still was growing through college which I dont believe. Sometimes I really think im done growing but my parents still try to convince me that I'm still growing but I think they just do that to make me feel better. I wish i could grow to be a least 4"10 or 4"11.

Your mom is right. Girls do NOT stop growing until they are 18-21. (A period really doesn't affect it much)

Your period has nothing to do with your height. You'll continue to grow until you're at least 18 and up until 21. I stopped at 18.

Yes, your mom is right.

Everyone stops growing at different ages. Some people stop when they're young teens, some stop in high school, and some stop after. Everyone's different, and that's what makes the world so great, there are a bunch of different heights.

Your parents are right, you will keep growing at least 3-4 years more. Instead of worrying over the matter, take full advantage of it by healthy diet/plenty of exercise. You will grow beyond 4,11.
Good luck!
