Why can't we all just listen to War( music group) and live in harmony. What's wrong with the Blacks,or mexicans or asians or whites when will we be able to set a better example for our children is hatred what we really want to pass on to our next generation ? Will you people just quit hating and stereo-typing not all whites are racist, not all asians know kung-fu, not all mexicans are illegal immegrant s and not all blacks smoke weed or love grape soda or have kids while their teenagers I didn't do any of that but I do live in a suburban neighbor hood.

War was the name of the people who sung why can't we be friends and in the song it talks about one of them wanting to befriend a white man.

I agree, but respectfully would like to add that there will NEVER be equality in the U.S. until all it's people are treated equally ie. ANyone can build a casino in Wisconsin if they have the money and want to, ALL scholarships for blacks , whites, hispanics etc are taken off the table and replaced by scholarships for whoever earns it. If you get busted for a crime, you do the time and don't whine that you're there because you are black, green or blue! NO QUOTA'S you get the job because you're the most qualified, not because there isn't enough of one color in the office today. Equality is a many edged sword, I'm not sure everyone who claims to be all for it would REALLY like it much if it became a reality.

The Utopian society will be reached one day but I fear its going to take a tragedy of monstrous proportions for it to happen , If only the Golden Rule (treat others as you you would wish to be treated) was followed by every race , religion and creed we would then be one race ,The Human Race ! We came together on 9/11 when the only skin color in NY that day was gray and everyone worked together and loved their brothers and sisters and showed that compassion was universal !
I love meeting new cultures ,when I was in the U.S. Navy I learned about bigotry and hatred of every kind and it saddened me greatly and still does , People are cruel !
One day I hope we can all meet in the middle and put our differences aside long enough to find that we are not that different !

And not all East Indians are doctors or cabbies...
This is the same question that has been asked for decades. Though I completely agree with you, I don't expect things to change- ever. People think too much of themselves, to show others the same respect.

because most people don't understand that there's only ONE race - The Human Race;
people who identify with the color of their skin as a race are the ignorant ones, along with religious believers.
Go beyond the color of Your skin, and DO this:
Have UnConditional Love and Peace by accomplishing this:
Create Your Relationship with Our Creator.
UnConditional Love and Peace is the only answer.

We see the same phenomenon also happening with religion,
political parties, & professional sports.
People identify with their own group, it gives them strength.
Unfortunately, this can run over into criticism of differences.
What we need is to dialogue about our differences.
This will help us to grow in respect for one another;-}
instead of saying "we're right & you're wrong."

When you come back down to earth consider that while your idea is nice, just turn on your TV. Bill O' Reilly is a white racist, watch a rap video all they talk about is degrading women, dealing drugs, and murder. I work in a restaurant and everyone in the back speaks Spanish you mean they are all legal? I agree not every stereotype applies everyone, but it's hard to ignore my own eyes.

Because people are intolerant, ignorant and stupid. But you have to realize that not all people are like that, we just have to try and educate the ones that are.
