No number can make you happy. If you like the way you look and you feel good then the number shouldn't matter.

Over the last 1 1/2years I have lost 155 pounds.
I made a point of not watching the numbers as I lost the weight. But the doctor knew.
When I got close to my goal, we decided how much I should weigh based on height, etc.
What a great surprise!!!!
I weight myself only in my doctor's office, every 3 months.

Sorry to say, but yes. I would like to think that my happiness is not connected to weight. But I know that if I see the number go down, I am elated! For me it is a sense of accomplishment, since I strive to eat health and exercise. However, if everyone had great self esteem, scales wouldn't exist.

I was anorexic when I was a teen, that was because I was modeling at 14. I wanted to be tiny, now that I am older and life has brought me to this point, I never weigh myself, I can still wear my jeans from years ago. I am very active and happy. Weight is an issue no longer.

A number means nothing to me. As long as I am comfortable with my weight, that's all that matters.

Not a number per say but I think I'd be happier if these flabby bits would just disappear on their own.

I already weigh my ideal weight, don't need to get skinnier.
