I feel sick whenever I look at the kid who is a boy who talks like he does and then the dog.... how can anybody relate?

it's very random and has a lot of dry humor. I think some things are funny because out of nowhere you will see something so random and off the wall, it makes you laugh because you are surprised. It's kind of like the human stream of conciousness, you are talking about one thing, one topic, and then theres that one random thought you have. Family guy does it a lot. If you know about things going on in the world, and events, and history, you will understand it better. Otherwise it will be one big mess of random events with a storyline behind it. Read the news.

It is a cartoon, just entertainment. And the family guy represents the American family with a dog and 3 kids, and a dog. Like Roseanne in a cartoon. And how you not like Stewie!!!!!

You're not supposed to relate, you're supposed to laugh! It's obviously not a realistic show, I mean c'mon the dog dates human women.

I don't think you really need to relate to the show to find it interesting or funny. Alot of their jokes are parody of folklore, older popular shows, politics, religion and anything sacred. It is funny and smart.

It's a cartoon- don't take it that serious.
