Yes I am a Chevalier nerd.
What's your favorite King Arthur book? Who's your favorite of the Orkney faction?
Are you going to see the movie coming out today?

fairly big fan of Arthurian, but lately have been doing mostly Norse mythology. I would have to say Gawain is my favorite Orkney man. I will probably see the movie but i might wait for the DVD. as far as favorite book....thats a tough one i like so many. The ones by Pyle all have great adventure with knights "cleaving him unto his brainpan" "the once and future king" has all that great humor. I also like one that came out about 10 yrs back where Arthur is reincarnated as a 10 yr old kid from new york.

Yes, I love the Arthurian legends. At one point I was totally in love with Sir Gawain. I also wanted to get a Masters degree in Brit. Lit. with a concentration in Arthurian Literature, but things really fell through.
I didn't know there was a movie coming out (I don't really keep up on the current movies and stuff). Did you ever hear of Rick Wakeman? He did a musical retelling of the Arthurian legends, "The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table." It's wonderful; every now and then I get the desire to immerse myself in King Arthur, so I listen to that.

Great fan but out of touch for a while.

NEW MOVIE!?

I love Arthurian legend and my focus is finding ways to connect other things to it (such as the connections between Bran's head in the Tower and various other myths about heads (such as the one on a small island owned but not occupied by the Templars), or the similarities between the sword weilded by Sigmund and Sigfried (given by Odin) vs. Excalibur/Excaliber/Caliburnus.

I am not going to see the movie, out of respect for other fans. I have a baby who thinks being quiet is for others.
