You cannot change your orientation. What you can do is decide how your sexuality will influence your actual behavior.

Your statement that you were straight in school and then ended up gay when school ended makes no sense. What I can tell you is that you're 12, and that's about the time of most males' sexual awakening, if you will. It's the time you find out what you are attracted to. If you're attracted to males, you can't shut it off. There's no pill, there's no switch.

If it bothers you, the first step is to figure out why. I can't give you that answer, only you can. If you have found a reason why being gay is unacceptable, then you can choose to not act on your tendencies. That's a tough choice to follow your whole life, but some do choose to. If you have some attraction to the opposite sex, that will likely make it much easier. If you find that you don't... then you're probably not going to be very happy.

Figure out why it bothers you first.

Sexuality is a biological given, such that changing from gay to straight is as absurd as changing from straight to gay.

My stepdaughter was gay in high school. She chose to be straight after 6 years of that life style.

First - NEVER accept that your actions are predetermined, fixed by the stars and can never be changed.

Next- make new friends. Get rid of the crowd you hang out with now. Find people who have traits you appreciate. Their traits will rub off on you.

Then set goals for yourself. Be very specific. Specificity is the key for all goals to work. Review your goals every night. Check how you did. Do everything to reach your goal, avoid everything that keeps you from your goals.

Get a hobby. Fill your spare time. Idle hands are truly the devils workshop.

Tell your parents about your feelings. They are there to guide you through life and to help you when you have problems. Talk to your preacher. He'll understand.

Good luck. Keep focused, set your sights on your HS Prom!

Bobby......okay, I won't tell you that you can't convert. I'll just say one thing: be happy with who you are, dear. Be proud of yourself and do what feels natural.

Good luck! XOXO

put your past behind and look into the future. talk to girls more and go on dates. See how you really feel about dating girls and then think if being straight makes you happier

If you're truely gay, you can't.

Well, not without hurting yourself in the long run.
