How can I find out the ranking of the college I am considering attending as far as art schools are concerned? Is there a website that ranks all schools in the US?

bleh I was just on the usnews website. that's what made me think of this question. of course the school i'm interested wasn't even on the list! i'm still hoping there's a website that ranks all colleges.

I just want the top 50 art schools in the country.

US News is "the" resource. There are simply too many colleges for any one reputable resource to rank them all.

Yes, actually new rankings were just recently published:

Keep in mind that a majority of schools are trying to do away with rankings are they can be biased and not indicitive of the education received. So take any ranking you see with a grain of salt.

For colleges overall, you can look at U.S. News & World Report (www.usnews.com). Their 2007 rankings just came out today. For art schools specifically, there seems to be a www.artschools.com website that has rankings, but I don't know how accurate they are supposed to be.
