What do you think about the identical quadruplets in Montana?

I think that is awesome. I also think it is amazing because there was no fertility drugs used. These babies are from 2.5 to 3 pounds. I have come to the conclusion that without using fertility drugs the health of twins to sextuplets is healthier. Do you think so? I mean recently there was a set of sextuplets where there were deaths and each mother used fertility drugs. Not sure I trust them!!

It is amazing when it happens without intervention.

Four babies - the blessings are quadrupled! They will certainly have their hands full and so I hope they will have lots of friends and family members around them to provide support.

I'm not sure if the use of drugs affects the baby's health. I think that would depend more on genetics and mom's care during pregnancy.

It isn't the method of conception that determines the health, it is determined by the number of babies, and the ability of the mother's uterus to expand large enough without going into labor and therefore preventing premature birth.

Fertility drugs themselves are not a bad thing - but when prescribed by non-fertility specialists, and when not used correctly, and when the parents don't follow instructions to the letter, that's when tragedies happen. Any fertility specialist who practices ethically knows that any pregnancy of more than three babies is a failure. It's too risky for both those children and the mother. And there is no reason it needs to happen.

I think it is really cool. What a neat way to be different!

She did well to get to 31 weeks. The human body is not really built to carry litters, that's why we see so many deaths in these multiples. Plus just lots of disabled kids. Don't see them being celebrated on Discovery Channel....

I hope we can give the family the privacy they want.....

I think that is great. Its a miracle that they are healthy.
