Once you're fully aroused, your vagina should lengthen and be stretchy enough to allow the penis without pain, but if you're having intercourse when you're not quite in the mood, it may not be ready.
If your partner is hitting your cervix or in such a position that the way he moves pushes against your ovaries, that can hurt as well.
The best thing to do is to talk to him about it - he may need to slow down, or you may want to try different positions (put your bottom on a pillow, have your legs in a different position, etc., I don't mean [unless you want to!] things straight from the Karma Sutra ;-)). The great thing is few men are ever offended if you imply they're just a little too long to be comfortable without some slight changes in position!

owch! there are a few things it could be. If your boyfriend is being rough or pushing hard he could be pushing against your cervix which will be really uncomfortable. It might be that your are tensing unconsciously when you have sex as you are expecting it to hurt and so you tense and then it does hurt when he pushes against your tense muscles. It is definatley NOT because you are not deep enough - women are designed perfectly so don't make it your problem. You need to tell him what is happening so you can work through it together. If he is gentle and does not try to push deep until you are really relaxed and turned on and ready and not until you say so. Take charge and don't let him hurt you - even if its not conscious. Good luck.

I experience the same thing honey. My fiance is 7 inches and some positions that are deep hurt so bad. I dont think there is anything you can do about it. All women are made different and some are deeper than others. Just tell him to be easy with you and if you relax It will start to feel better.

I don't really know, or pretend to know all about your situation, but perhaps your hymen is still intact, I know in some girls/women they're hymen may break from riding a bike, a horse, masturbation or other countless means including having sex. It may be possible that you have a very "robust" hymen, which has remained intact and the pain you feel is the pressure your boyfriend is exerting upon it. I agree with the others, you should see your doc to make sure everything is OK, and you may wish to try other positions which may be more comfortable.

Easy, just use a different position.
You did not say what positon you guys were in, but him on top with your legs back or doggy style lets the guy go deeper.
Try it with you on top or you both on your sides, if youre on top you control how deep he goes.
Also you should make sure you are lubricated and aroused before he penetrates you.
It sounds like he is hitting your cervix during sex, and yes I've experienced this...just try changing positions.
Good Luck and have fun

yeah it can be a bit sensitive at certain times. maybe the position you're using isn't a comfortable one for you. But for the most part the depth of a woman's vagina shouldn't be an issue because it can stretch at the back and everything. There can sometimes also be medical conditions behind painful sex, but I wouldn't worry too much.

My ex-girlfriend used to have this problem, what we had to do is start really slow and work my way in. Have him go down on you to produce a little extra lubrication.

you need to get used to it. if you have not had somone who is 61/2 inches before then its going to hurt. until your body gets used to it. I guess you could just do it more often
