She might not be wanting to eat because her mouth is sore. Look at her gums and look to see if there are white bumps on her gums. Also, is she drooling a lot? This can be a sign of teething. Get Hyland's Teething Tables, and infant Tylenol. This will help with teething pain. Don't force a baby to eat if they are not hungry. This can lead to childhood obesity.

it could easily be the heat. My daughter went through a spell earlier this summer where she stopped eating to the point that she became anemic and fell from the 40th percentile to the 15th. There wasn't anything wrong with her, she was just too hot to eat. All we could do was feed her as much as possible and give her prescription level vitamins to make sure she got the nutrients she needed. As long as your daughter is gaining weight and has no other symptoms, I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. Babies get what they need when they need it (usually), but if she is still not eating at her next appointment (or within a week or 2), I would call the dr. But for one day, it is probably no big deal. Babies have no concept of time, only "hungry' vs "not hungry." It is easy for us to worry because we think more in "time" vs. "not time" to eat.

A one-month-outdated eating formulation could consume each 3-4 hours, which might advise 6-8 feedings consistent with day. At each and each feeding, she could drink 2-3 oz.. Burp her each ounce or so, at this age, to help stay away from gas and colic. Breastfed infants could be fed "on call for" at this age, yet because of the fact she's on formulation, she won't want as lots. it is not that formulation is greater nutritious, yet that it is greater filling, and you're in a position to greater effective video demonstrate how lots she's eating. (Breasts do no longer incorporate notches to help you be attentive to procedures many oz. she drank!!) Pediatricians are often crushed by using questions from new mothers, and on occasion are in ordinary terms in a position to handle emergency and pressing concerns - your toddler's nutritional intake is unquestionably important, yet in addition a elementary question. Your daughter could have had her first properly-toddler verify-Up with a pediatrician at 2 weeks outdated. How did she evaluate on the upward push chart? have been you informed she became at a sturdy weight, or too heavy, or too narrow? She could be scheduled for her 2d properly-toddler verify-Up while she is two months outdated. Ask your accepted practitioner how she's doing then, and if he/she has suggestions for feeding. attempt to no longer replace docs too in many situations - you like to have somebody who might properly be there as your daughter grows, and have an in-intensity wisdom of her well-being and historic past. yet actual discover somebody who has sturdy bedside way along with your daughter first and perfect, yet in addition with you. sturdy success! PM me in case you have the different questions.

No I wouldn't worry. Especially when they are teething, they will refuse the bottle as often. As long as she is still eating, and soiling diapers, and is not clearly in distress- like crying non stop or lathargic. She is fine.

Just keep an eye on her..... if she acts normal other than that, just discuss it at your normal appointment...but watch closely for any other "symptoms"....

Also, try another brand of formula. My baby did that on NESTLE, and when i switched to enfamil-- BAM, she wanted two bottles in a row.

She might be gassy which can cause her not to want to eat. Try burping her to see if anything comes out.
