Well all babies react differently. But I also switched my baby from one formula to another and I just stopped giving her the similac and started giving her enfamil and she really had no problem adjusting to it. Maybe your baby won't have a problem if you just start giving him the new formula. However if he does then maybe you should just call his pediatricians office and find out what you can do about it. Good luck

Give one bottle of enfamil the next bottle nestle. My daughter didn't do this though she just switched brands because the baby was having a hard time with the kind she was on. Are you changing it because he's not doing well on the enfamil or its more expensive? Remember theres no guarantee that he's going to do well on the nestle.

Change it slowly. I changed mine by putting half and half in a bottle of each product.
I had my son on Similac Advance.......I seen at Wal-Mart the generic for it...(Parents choice brand.) It had the same ingredients and the same proteins, but it costs half as much. I combined the two for a few days and slowly gave more of the parents choice. He did great on it and is thriving wonderfully. Dont let anyone tell u that u cant save money without hindering the contents. U can!
Be sure to talk to your doc before you make any drastic changes. They may be able to suggest a more suitable formula to eliminate the constipation.
Hope u have lotsa luck hun. Congrats on baby!

There is no way to tell how a baby is going to do on a new formula until anywhere from a few days up to a week. They have to get used to the change. I have heard that Nestle is good for babies, but I never used it. I used soy formula for my son

Do it gradually. If you give 8 oz total, then use 7 oz of Enfamil and 1oz of Nestle. Do this for a few bottles. If he doesn't react, then you can do 6oz Enfamil and 2oz of Nestle, etc... If he does react, then stop right away.

With my daughter I used good start (orange can) and it stopped her up and I needed to change it so I changed to good start (purple can) and by getting her used to it I would do half and half of each formula and gradually cut it down after so many bottles until she was fully on the new stuff. Good Luck!
