I think what Wal-Mart is illegal. Selling cheap rip offs and putting stores out of business.
Why do Americans love to shop at Wal-Mart? Are people too stupid to realize what's going on?
I will never shop at Wal-Mart, K Mart, Target, or Dollar Stores (which are very popular ).
I'd rather shop at Sears, Mervyn's, or Kohl's for clothes. The prices at Macy's and Gottchalk's are ridiculous.

Yes, Wal Mart is EVIL. There is nothing good to say about them. They are a parasite on society today. I wish more people really knew the background of Wal-Mart, then they might think twice before shopping there, just to save a dollar.

I don't think it's a question of how stupid Americans are but more of a question of where else is there to shop. Wal Marts are the only department store in a lot of smaller towns. I don't like the way Wal Mart moved in, took American jobs, and doesn't seem to care as long as they make a profit. If there was another place to shop where they didn't take American jobs I would shop there.

Yes they are pushing the little Mom & Pop businesses out of business. I understand the point your trying to make.
I do not like their cheaply made clothes. They would never last.
Yes, I prefer Target, Ross, Kohl's & Mervyn's. Penny's & Macy's and those other uppity stores are a joke.
Food is food, but I rarely shop there for food.
But to some people convienence is convienence, and people do shop there, or they would not still be in business.
But we all have a choice, so make your choice and don't worry about what the other person is doing. Your not going to change it.

I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart for anything except cheap electronics. Right now there's a Vizio 42" LCD going for $650.

Your right about walmart...but what makes wal-mart suck is the other millions of ppl shopping there all at that same time you are or anyone else....then they have 14 checkout lanes with only 3 open....

You get what you pay for. Most of the stuff they have is made in China. They have no service. If you have a problem the argue with you. It is all about making profits. The heck with the slogan "Satisfaction guaranteed"!
When Mr. Walton was in charge he had a nice business. They have gotten too fat and one day will fold just like K-Mart.
My advice when you shop at these small local businesses the difference is the service and what you are paying for is good service!

It's kind of hard to not shop at Walmart when they move into a small town, and run all of the small shops out. I bet old Mr. Walton is spinning in his grave, I heard he was a very nice man. Our Walmart is a Super Walmart, everything from groceries to tires. So many of the smaller stores closed up when they came to town.

uhhhh wal-mart is awesome
and their stuff isn't cheap
it just the same as any other store
they just sell it for a lower price
so why complain?
now i don't really buy clothes from there
but hey i still shop there
for like hair produtcs, food, etc
so yeah! wal-mart is awesome foo!

YES I AM. THAT STORE IS DISGUSTING AND WE NEVER GO THERE! TARGET IS WHERE WE GO. AND IS WHERE A LOT OF PEOPLE SHOULD GO. I KNOW WAL-MART CATERS TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE ALOT BUT I JUST THINK THEY COULD DO A LOT BETTER. TARGET IS SO MUCH BETTER TO THEIR WORKERS. AND IS CLEANER AND DOESN'T SMELL LIKE A ZOO.
