I am straigh, but I wonder how is it dating or marry other person your same sex? I can understand falling in love, but I can not imagine how could it be living as a marriage with other person your same sex. Could you explain me? Please, I am not saying I am against it, actually I admire the autenticity of gay people, I just wonder how it is.

In most ways, it's just like being with the opposite sex. In a serious relationship, you talk and fight about the same things - money, the future, whether or not to go out to eat, what to have for dinner, what to watch on tv. Same old, same old.

Of course, if you're both women, maybe you're more likely to enjoy the same shows, books, movies, etc., but then again... maybe not. Ditto for the men.

The sex is a little different, but mostly, it feels good, you make each other feel good, and you snuggle (or don't) afterwards.

That's about it. Why it's such a huge deal to so many people is beyond me.

Like everybody else said: it just works out. Every gay relationship is it's own paradigm.

the only problem James and I have is sometimes with the dividsion of household chores. If it were a woman and a man, chances are good that the woman would do the cleaning and cooking and the man would do the house repairs and yard work, etc.

Neither of us are good cooks and both of us HATE to wash clothes and clean the house. So we made a deal where one person does it for a week and the other does it for the next week.

Other than that, I imagine in a lot of ways it's the same as a hetero marriage.

It is good that you are questioning many of soceitys answers to The Gay Revolution.
Consider that for the past 2000 years homosexuality, and lesbianism, has been considered as the grossest of human behaviour, immoral, and degrading, and those who practiced were looked on with the word :Queer: I didnt makethat word up, it was societys word for that kind of behaviour. It is not NORMAL behaviour.

What's the difference - all marriage means is that you can file joint tax returns, and you lose half your stuff if you break up with them...

HOW would this be different for two people of the SAME sex?!?!?!?

It is amazingly similar to straight couples. It's two personalities, and the issues are usually similar. Who takes out the trash, who washes the dishes, etc. The same give and take you have with your partner, we would have with ours.

It's just how things work.

Could you explain to us why you fall in love with someone of the opposite sex?

I'm just dating and it is only my first relationship but its fantastic. Everything you hear about when you grow up about how loving relationships are supposed to be is true. Well, I should say, can be true. I lucked out. I met a guy who wanted me and loves me. I mean he even thinks I'm hot. Now that's love.

Beautiful, sweet, enchanting, compromising... the same as a marriage, or relationship between a heterosexual couple!

It is just like any other kind of loving partnership. You have to communicate, compromise, give and take and support one another.
