How would you describe the personality and character of people from different regions of USA?

Stereotypes are welcome, especially funny and quirky ones, so don't be cruel. And don't just say "people are the same wherever you go." I'm not talking about basic survival and psychosocial needs. I mean manners, behaviors, and tendencies. Tell me where you're from too.

Hi! I live in the middle of the U.S. I was born in California, but I've lived all over the U.S. and have travelled outside of the U.S. Every region and locality has it's positive and negative points. Quirky behavior is everywhere. I try to believe that most people are kind. Even if you experience bad behavior, there are enough good people around to help you.
