Follow your heart and not your head. Heads tend to be too rational. Your heart is your true self so following that will never steer you wrong.

You know what? I've found it to be completely true. Yea, I've had my heart broken a time or two ... but I am stronger and better for it. I wouldn't live any other way ...

IT Would have to be what Sidney Freeman says on M*A*S*H, "Ladies and Gentleman, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice." This figutatively means that you should be willing to make a mistake, they are going to happen so learn to live with mistakes and move on. This is what advice I have taken truly to heart and made my personal motto.

It wasn't given to me exactly. But it changed the way I viewed relationships, forever. My mom and dad always fought and yelled. it was awful. One day (I was11) I heard my brother in law say to my sister. "you know, just because your married doesn't mean you have to yell" I was actually stunned. I had never heard anyone say that and yelling was the only thing I knew. I processed that for a long time. Because of that one sentence. I have never had a screaming match like my parents. I always wait to address problems until I am calm and rational. It really improved my entire life and the atmosphere my son was raised in!!!

My grandfather told me once that in my life I would have acquaintances and friends and over time I would know the difference. He was right. There are very few people I can call my true friends.

It came from my wise dear old dad, He said sit down girl I want to talk to you & dont say a work until I'm through. Now there's a time to laugh a time to cry, a time to live and a time to die, a time to bake and a time to chill, to act civilized or act real ill. But, what ever you do, in your life time. .. You never let an MC steal your Rhyme. :) / lol

Other than that: Be yourself or you will find yourself by yourself! Never say never, Live and let live, to each his own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, never count your chickens before they're hatched, pink in the morning sailors warning - pink at night sailors delight. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. . . . . . Have a great weekend folks. . .!!

My dad told me to always throw the empty beer bottles out of the car so there are no open containers if I got pulled over.
He told me to throw them in the ditch so nobody would get a flat tire from glass in the road.

Think before we make judgements because most often what we don't like in someone or ridicule them for is something we see and recognize in ourselves that we don't like or are insecure about.

My mother always told me to listen to my conscience and follow it and I couldn't go wrong. Unfortunately, I sometimes didn't listen to it and ended up making wrong choices at times.
