*i don't mean to generalize all of you
I've noticed that a lot of people here respond to the arrogant questions and then complain later that all of these trolls should be deleted and that they're deleted the good people's accounts instead. Can I just say something? Have you ever thought of why they post arrogant questions and what they want? All they want is attention from people and they want to be known as a popular spammer... they want a lot of people to answer their questions, and that's what they get as I can see! Maybe if nobody answers their questions, they'll get bored and go spam on some other bored... so please next time do not respond to arrogant questions. Thanks! (you can reply and say your opinion)

There's another rude question here and already there are 7 responses! People can do better than that!

Yes, there will ALWAYS be mean people, no matter how hard to try to get rid of them.. and I know they can sometimes really piss you off, but can't you control your urges to respond?

I know it gives you a free two points, but you're just making the situation worse by responding. You're giving the poster what he wants, which is a large amount of answers to gain popularity... they are notoriou

I know what you mean. Just ignore them and they will go back under their bridge.

I'm farily new here in this site and I first thought we were all here to help each other out and then I find out these "trolls" and "spammers" just making things ugly for all of us. But you are right, we shouldn't even pay attention to them even if it's an easy 2 points, but hey, why instead of answering them for the easy 2 points don't we jsut click on an issue we don't know and say something there, like gardening or whatever.
I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but as long as everyone respects each other. When they cross the line that's when I get angry as well. I've reported so far 6 trolls.

Oh specific i will and could answer with rudeness, aggression or perhaps some hatred to persons that are asking and are blatantly racist, sexist or another immoral and or dishonorable question. different than that if a question fairly annoys me I merely pass alongside without responding. Momma continuously suggested, "in case you could not say something superb, do not say something in any respect!" previous, good coverage.

Personally, I agree that ignoring the trolls is better than answering their questions. I normally click on the question, use the report abuse function to report it, and move on. I never answer.
Still, some people have the idea that it's best for us to fight back. In many areas, I might agree, but not in Y!A. I pick my battles, and this is not one of them.

Its true, they are annoying. Its not that I get offended, not at all, I know they are just being immature little kids about it. I just can't help but say something smart, or rude back. It would be a good idea to just report and leave no comments at all. But you don't get any points.

I agree. They're really just pathetic little losers with nothing better to do that to insult people they'll never have to meet face to face.
If we made it a point to ignore them, I know they would eventually get bored and go bother somebody else.

well, I used to...but in a constructive way. but to them, that's still attention. and they use the opportunity to report everyone who answers, as well as getting the satisfaction of getting attention. I stopped responding to them a long time ago...just report and block.

My reason, and it is no excuse , is that sometimes a question will just push the wrong button. I then cannot help myself, probably to the glee of the asker.

You are completely right.
If they were ignored then maybe they wold go away.
I admit I used to answer and cuss them.
Now I simply answer saying "2 points".
Thats what everyone should do.

Or dont report them at all. let them as their questions. and not get any answers. who cares?
