Plain and simple, most of the sportswriters are idiots like SOK C. AUBURN has a chance to win big this year. The reason they start us at 14th is because of our road schedule. What they don't consider is that AUBURN is a great team on the road. Q.B. Brandon Cox even admitted playing on the road is good because you don't have the distractions of a home game. Tough road games:
1. LSWHO- They are very beatable because they are not the same team as last year. We will win that game!
2. Florida- We beat them last year and they are rebuilding
3. Arkansas- Tubberville will avenge last year. Write that down.
4. Georgia- We have a winning record against them in Athens
Bottom line is that AUBURN can shock people just like 2004 and if they go undefeated and don't get to play in the championship game the BCS should be dissolved.
Also the press starts talking about who they would like to see in the championship game before the season and they will do anything they can to make sure that game happens.

Oct. 20th... Auburn @ LSU.. they win that.. get ready to write them into the title game.. I think they'll beat florida and Arkansas offense is now even more one dimensional.. and Tennessee hasn't beaten Auburn since Peyton Manning was the QB.. and is 0-3 vs Tubberville if my facts are straight (and I think they are).. the road games are what alot of folks are counting as Auburn losses but they should keep in mind that Auburn is 11-1 on the road over the last 3 years.. the only loss coming in 2005 @ LSU.. which should have been a win but Vaughn missed 5 field goals and cost them the game.. they are a SOLID road team.. I think they "can" do it.. and if any team in the SEC right now can play with LSU.. it's Auburn.. second fact is they are playing with no expectations.. they always play lights out when flying under the radar

The SEC is always overlooked. Reason being, you have strong teams like USC and Notre Dame (Americas Team LOL) who play maybe 3 tough teams every year, wins by a fieldgoal, and blows everyone else out by like 50 pts.
Being an Auburn fan I would like to see them come out in late November without a blemish on their record like in 2004, but you see what happened then. Truth is as long as there are strong teams in cupcake conferences, the SEC will always get the bad end of the stick, even with the statement that Florida made last year over Ohio State.

Dyer fairly made an magnificent play with that run the place he rolled over the defender's physique. i've got on no account seen a play like that earlier. luckily it replaced into close to the Auburn sideline, the place they have been telling him to "run! run!" or he could have stood there like a bump on a log, questioning he replaced into down via touch. for my area, he could have been the MVP of the pastime. He had just about one hundred fifty yards vs. the geese. via assessment, the geese did not even smash one hundred yards rushing in the full pastime, and that they frequently have approximately 3 hundred in line with pastime. What a pastime via Auburn! Congrats to Auburn! whats up, Carrie! Newton is probably on the fringe of do exactly that, bust a nut, or 2, or 3, in a number of those scrumptious looking Auburn cheerleaders, if not his female pal.

Auburn is like at the bottom of my list for a national title contender. The team just doesn't impress me at all. You got the same players from last year, so is many others schools, like UM, TX, WV and USC those are the favorite schools, but who's know maybe Auburn can do it.

They could win every game this year, but you can't win the BCS title game if the voters don't vote you to the game :)
