Does it seem odd to anyone else that ever since the NFL split into 4 divisions per conference that teams are in divisions they do not belong? For example, why is Dallas in the NFC East?

Here's my divisional breakdown; if you were going to base teams on locations, how would you? Of course this would totally ruin most rivalries, but it's fun to dream isn't it?

 Buffalo
 New England

 North
 Cleveland
 Baltimore
 Pittsburgh
 Cincinnati

The NFL wanted to keep the "Skins/Boys" rivalry alive, that's why they're in the NFC East. I really couldn't see another reason, because geographically, there are better candidates to fit the fourth slot.

Cheers!

1. Best division in the NFL this year is the AFC South. All four teams have the capability of winning at least nine games this year. 2. Best division with QBs - NFC East 3. Running Backs - NFC East 4. Wide Receivers - AFC South by far. 5. Worst Division - NFC South - these days 9-7 is good enough to win. 6. Division most up for grabs - AFC South - Jacksonville and Indy will battling it out for the division all the way to the end. Tennessee and Houston are strong wild card possibilities. 7. Sweetest jerseys - NFC South 8. Best draft - Probably NFC South 9. Best head coaches - AFC South 10. Super Bowl champs - NFC East

You can't just change teams' conferences liek you did with New Orleans. That screws everything up. The divisions' locations don't matter all that much I don't think.

See when all teams are in the conference of their region, there's no chance to travel except for those non-conference games.
