Alternate between Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Apply heat to the abdominal area, like a hot water bottle or heating pad, or take a hot bath. You can also try abdominal or lower back massage. Stretching is another good way to alleviate cramping so try some yoga stretches. Here's a helpful yoga article: http://www.yogajournal.com/health/130.cfm

Use a heating pad. When I was younger, well I should say before I had kids I had cramps really bad and a heating pad worked wonders!
Try it and let me know how it works for ya!

Pamprin. And if they persist, get the Therma Care heating pad. It sticks to the inside of your undies and stays warm for 8 hours. Works really well, and no one can tell it's on.

I would say to definitely use a heating pad. Midol or pamprin works, drink hot chamomile tea. Exercising and drinking a lot of water also helps believe it or not.
