Can someone tell me a way that gets oils stains off a driveway. I've read so many things online, but I'm looking for a real life answer.

SAW DUST OR KITTY LITTER WORKS WELL

Some folks prefer/suggest Mean Green or Simple Green, both good products, but I've had most success with ZEP Citrus Cleaner, available at Home Depot (shudder) and institutional/janitorial cleaning supply stores. I also buy a few 25-lb. bags of KittyLitter. I pour the UNdiluted, full-strength ZEP onto the stains, then spread KittyLitter 'downhill' from the stuff to keep it where I want it. Leave it all day or overnight, then spread the KittyLitter onto the stained area and the clay will reabsorb most of the stain AND the ZEP. Sweep it up and put it into a galvanized or heavy-duty synthetic garbage can for subsequent use. Finish up with pressure-washing the driveway, using a 'fan tip' in the p/w's wand. The residual ZEP will foam up a lot, but the driveway will look like new when it dries. (Muriatic acid is nasty, caustic, toxic s**t...best not to use it or have it around)

At any auto parts store you can get this stuff called Oil Dri. It's granular, like kitty litter. You spread it onto the oil stain (even those years-old stains that look like tar) and then work it into the stain with the bottom of your shoe. When the stain is gone, sweep up the excess and hose off the remaining dust.

Oil Dri works on motor oil, brake fluid, and tranny fluid, too. And, it's pretty cheap.

Belive it or not, I heard oven cleaner is good for that because it will actually pull the oil out of the cement. My dad had a similar problem a few years back and swears by the oven cleaner!

First scrub with a degreaser - Dawn Dishsoap, then rinse. Second spray with WD40 and rub with wire brush then rinse, repeat second step as needed.
