Isn't New York city doing that already? Or, did they just come out and do the right thing and ban it. It's obvious that we don't need transfats and that they are known poisons that cause cancer and heart disease and other health problems that they should just be banned. They've been medically proven to cause these diseases. Ban them before transfat lobbiests get a hold of our government like the tobacco industry has already.

Hmmm, good point.

I've got another one for you, why don't we tax cruise ships and make them be licensed in the U.S.???

Norweigan Cruise lines, Dutch Cruise lines. etc. Isn't this just a sham so they owe nothing to the U.S. Thus, the U.S. seemingly has no control.

In light of the many missing people from cruise ships something should be done or they shouldn't be allowed at port.

Its a great idea. Transfat is every bit as much a killer as the aforementioned...and the US has to start collecting money to pay for all the debts held overseas.

even though it arguably is as bad or worse for the body in the long run, it's not a drug so it doesn't qualify under the same legal actions.
