Does carying coach purses make you seem stuck up?...?

I'd say it depends on the girl carrying the purse and the purse itself.

A thirteen-year-old with a coach bag seems stuck-up (and spoiled!) Whereas a thirty-year-old with a coach bag seems like she knows a thing or two about fashion. See the difference?

no. coach purses are so cheap for a designer purse they are barely considered designer. i mean anyone can carry one if they have 200-300 dollars. the other cheap one is dooney and bourke.

anyways its the way you act that makes people think you are stuck up, not what you wear or what you carry. for example i know tons of people who carry channel or marc jacobs or louis vuittons and i don't think they are stuck up. i mean some act stuck up and like they are better than everyone else, but its not the purse. some of the sweetest people carry designer purses and they arent stuck up.

I am a guy and don't know much about purses. However, spending all that money for a purse is a bit ostentatious to me.
But if you can really float it's your business what you buy. Never having been rich , I don't understand the mind set of people who have that kind of money. Nothing against the rich, just don't understand their use of money. But it is theirs and does put money into our economy. Guess that is ok. It's not like us lower income people don't buy things to act "stuck up."

I carry a Coach purse. I love my purses (they're all Coaches) and I'm the most approachable and friendly person there is. I am by far definitely not stuck up. My purse certianly doesn't define me or make me better than anyone else. Good luck. 2D

No. It means that the you like designer bags; it doesn't mean that you're stuck up. Some women may think that other women who have designer bags are stuck up. Men don't think the same way. I don't know very many men that can tell the difference between a designer and non-designer bag. They look at a girl's behavior and the way she carries herself to determine if she's snobby. They don't look at her handbag to determine that! If you meet a guy that thinks like that, he's been trained by his mom, sisters, or ex-girlfriend. You may have to put in a little more effort to steer him away from that way of thinking.

I rarely notice someone's bag...so, no...not in itself. HOWEVER...if you are waving your bag around and saying "I got a coach bag! Wanna know how much it costs! It's expensive! Coach bag! Coach bag, here!" I'd probably write you off as "ghetto-fabulous" I mean, seriously, how low class is THAT (especially when Coach is actually for the masses)....and sometimes HILARIOUS! I watched someone bragging about their coach bag in a restaurant bar once to a woman wearing Chanel who looked appalled. Somehow, I don't think she was impressed.

If you are wearing it daily, it makes you seem rich, especially when accompanied by expensive clothes, and if that translates to stuck up in your culture, than yes.

As an evening thing, it just makes you seem more dressed up, but not really stuck up, unless it's a casual thing.

No, but based on your username I could see why people may think you're stuck up for carrying it. There will always be haters, but if you don't act like you're better than somebody for having brand name clothes, purses, cars, etc. than people won't think you're stuck up.
