My brother read the book. He's the one who recommended it. I watched the movie though, and I thought it was beautiful. It provided great motivation and endless inspiration. After watching it, I actually bought the DVD. So far, I have watched it 3 times. It's really a wonderful movie. It's worth reading and watching. I've heard that the author is very renowned and popular.

It was probably one of the more fascinating biographies I've read because not only was it about a horse but his trainer, jockey, and owner. It's incredibly detailed. The movie is really good, they did a nice job of book-to-film, but there are some inaccuracies due to stuffing so much information into a film. The movie starts out slow, but it's pretty fantastic in the end.

The book is better than the movie, because it obviously has much more "room" to tell the story...though the final scene in the movie is absolutely awesome, as you feel you are in the race with 'Biscuit. It is perhaps the greatest book and movie ever made on the sport.

I didn't read the book, saw the movie though. I liked it, I did think it was a bit long and dragged though.

Personally it was really hard for me to get through the book. I love reading... and horses, but I just couldn't get into it. As for the movie, however I love anything with Tobey in it! :]

I found it very moving and inspirational, and I don't even like horses. :)
