"If President Bush copied Julius Caesar by ordering his army to empty Iraq of Arabs and repopulate the country with Americans, he would achieve immediate results: popularity with his military; enrichment of America by converting an Arabian Iraq into an American Iraq (therefore turning it from a liability to an asset); and boost American prestiege while terrifying American enemies.

He could then follow Caesar's example and use his newfound popularity with the military to wield military power to become the first permanent president of America, and end the civil chaos caused by the continually squabbling Congress and the out-of-control Supreme Court."

It is hardly a conspiracy it is on the FSM's website.
The Family Security Matters organization masquerades as an independent "think tank" yet was highly influential in President Bush's re-election in 2004 and has links to top Neo-Con ideologues.

He has a warped view of history and what is possible. He thinks orders to empty Iraq of Arabs and repopulate it with Americans would be popular with the military, why? Would many Americans want to move there afterwards to repopulate it? Would the military even want to bring their families to Iraq, their new permanent home base? Especially if nuclear weapons were used, making the area radioactive? Would terrifying American enemies be a good thing, or lead them to exert themselves more? Consider the example of Iran and North Korea thinking they better hurry up and get nuclear weapons or they would be next. After 2003, those countries were not impressed into surrendering. In that article, Philip Atkinson would suggest doing something more impressive, either ethnic cleansing or nuclear annihilation. Yes, many people on Yahoo Answers have suggested turning Mecca/Iraq/Iran/The Whole Beeping Mideast "into glass". So I knew this line of thinking was out there. So this guy writes a bit better, may even convince some people his plan is realistic. But it is not.

Julius Caesar never ordered his army to empty Iraq of Arabs and repopulate the country with Americans, because there was no Iraq for nearly 2000 years after his death, and no Roman knowledge of America for more than 1500 - so Mr. Bush would be following his own lights, rather than imitating Julius Caesar.

The article you cite essentially recommends that the United States build an empire by genocide and nuclear terrorism. Call me crazy, but I think it would be unfitting to commit the greatest crime against humanity ever contemplated. For a little bit of perspective, killing all of the Iraqis would amount to a death toll of about 27 million - Three times as great as the Holocaust, and nearly half of the total death toll of World War II, or more than 22 times the number of U.S. service members who have died while on active duty since the start of the republic.

I don't think we should do it!

Arrogant elitists?
Few seeking the Presidency aren't!
Hillary has already stated she wants the military to be totally under the control of the President when she takes over the oval office.
Be realistic in choosing the candidates you support.
Give financial assistance to the candidates you support BEFORE the primary elections.
NEVER EVER vote for any candidate that wants higher taxes and more gun control.
Money, property, guns and TOTAL freedom of speech (short of liable slander) are the only weapons you possess that may be used to fight tyranny.
That is why our founding fathers put those rights in the Constitution.
ANYONE wanting to raise taxes and take away guns is a MARXIST TYRANT and not deserving of ANY support.
