i know i will prob get a violation for this, but why do people keep going on about the mCcanns. yes we know they made a big mistake leaving the children. they will have to live with that, for the rest of there lives. but surley people dont need to keep posting speculation an cruel remarks, it seems to be the only topic on here, no matter what anyone says no one can change what happened, an all the cruel and hurtfull remarks wont help bring this little girl home, what everyone seems to forget is the innocent one in this maddie. so how about people who want to have ago at maddies parents, remember the saying if u cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all. people dont want to be reading the same things over an over again.

Amen, Sister. I hear you loud and clear. my Mom use to say if you can't say anything nice about someone you should not say anything at all. Who are we to point fingers. Remember, only God can Judge. He and he alone.

Have a great weekend.

I also agree, we should all move on.

I have come to the quiet resolution this little girl will not be found soon and sadness for her is felt by us all. Recrimination for her parents is felt by us all.

Lets leave it there now, her parents have to live with this every second of their days. We thankfully, have other things in our lives to occupy our thoughts.

Thats not to say we should forget, because we wont, her face is with us and wherever we all go I'm sure we will all be looking for her in the face of every little four year old girl.
We all have significant memories of times in our lives that have affected us, but as the saying 'let sleeping dogs lie' goes, we should.
We can only leave it to the 'professionals' and keep our thoughts, hopes and prayers to ourselves for this little girl.
Unhelpful comments, snide remarks at her parents and conjecture at their actions as we see it is not bringing her back.

I agree, sure they made a mistake, and a serious one, but we as individuals are not the judge and jury and we need to let it go.
.
Don't take this the wrong way, because I do feel bad for the family, but what about the other hundreds if not thousands of missing children that the world is not even aware of.

I don't understand why some cases are all over the media and others never get any attention at all.

I f you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all ? ( what a load of rubbish, no wonder this country is going to the dogs ) this just lets people off, why cant we say the McCanns neglected there children, because they did,
Sitting by and saying nothing, will help no one.

It is because they come across as unemotional and insincere. Gerry in particular has a business like arrogant manner and when he speaks he appears almost to be sneering. Katie says precious little and I get the impression Gerry has told her to keep quiet and let him do the talking. They deserve all the criticism they get and it is so sad that Maddie had to be born to such people.

yes, that's right...well are you familiar with the saying that all it takes for evil to happen is for one good man to do nothing? This is about principles and standards. This case has received so much media attention and funding - are you prepared to live with consequences where standards in society will have slipped so much that parents who leave their defenseless toddlers alone will be given standing ovations as in the mc cann case? They are called 'family' holidays for a reason.

Amen to that! Why don't people reserve their hatred for the monster who took Madeleine.

Ignore Dave S he clearly has an unhealthy obsession with this case and is more to be pitied than scolded. ; )

Quote from Mysterious:
Doesn't surprise me at all. They have been lying since poor little Madeleine went missing.
Don't be a hypocrite, you're only interested in madeleine. You've had plenty of pops at the parents.
