depends on the person you ask of course...

you become what you think about.

people dwell on what they dont want therefore it appears time and time again.....The Secret is the Law of Attraction Whatever is going on in your mind is what you are attracting. Thought = creation. If these thoughts are attached to powerful emotions (good or bad) that speeds the creation

The law of attraction says you attract like a magnet what your thinking and feeling about.

watch the secret..its a good positive thing. here is the 1st 25 minutes.

It works 100%.

and why would it not?

1st step is having gratitude for all the good things in your life, thus focusing on positive things that make you happy.

2nd is asking and defining your goals, believing in yourself and having joy that it is coming.

These are all essential in becoming succesful.

it's you becoming positive and being grateful for what you have...starting to shift your energy etc...

it could come to you in a million forms...perhaps you get a raise, a part time job, go into a venture with someone, it takes time also..most people fail because they simply give up...

it is VERY rare for a very happy, positive person that gets off thier butt and works hard to fail.

Living

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.

To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

Not my opinion but the Universal Truth given by the highest Authority and spiritual masters ,Which I fully accept.
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here,(the less intelligent ones, (That's us)) and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy.Which is the highest goal of the eternal soul. I love this sublime process meant for all sincere seekers of the Highest Truth.
For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line.

My opinion on the meaning of life falls in line with my "faith" which is deism. We are simply an accident originating out of an unconcerned creator's creation and thus there is no meaning to our lives. The only meaning that can vaguely be ascribed to our life is the temporal one we assign to it when we are alive.

The meaning of life is different for each person. Life is what you make of it. It is a series of choices and decisions and each one has different consequences. The meaning of my life is family. I live for my family, to make them happy and to better their lives. To teach them as much as I can and help them live their lives happier and wiser. Life is very hard sometimes, but if it wasn't hard, I don't think I would enjoy the good times as much. People really do need to be nicer to each other, we are all here on this planet to live our lives, why not help each other do it the best we can.

There is no meaning of life in and of itself. It's what you make of it.

Life is like a box of chocolates...just kidding, I think life is about the human experience...experience as much as you can - joy, pain, love, hate, fear, courage, etc. We wouldn't have all of these emotions if we weren't meant to experience them all...
