They made another one and are making #3 because it made the $$$$$, bottom line. That's all that counts.

Yes, it's overrated, but no, that's not the reason they're making a second (and third) one. It's because it's raking in the money. LOTS of money. That's all that matters, it doesn't matter that it's teaching kids singing through the nose is good singing.

I HATE that movie!!!
It's so retarded and the characters are so fake!! The singing is annoyint and the stupid "Sharpie" girl should be hit upside the head, along with all of the rest of the stupid cast!!!!
I hope that they all get killed by a guy with a chainsaw in the second one!!!!!!

My 11 year old sister is throwing a party over it... WHY?! Its not a great movie, Its just a kids movie, just like all the other kids movies. I think the children are being influenced by the tv telling them the movie was great.

Yes it is, and it's airing this weekend. There are also plans for a third one, but whether or not it production will go through remains to be seen.
