Are you speaking about a clothes horse or coat hangers ?

coat hangers can often be found given away from clothing shops, or sold five for a quid.

clothes horses can be bought for about six pound from a home bargain shop... these are the type that you find when you are abroad in Spain, or the fold up type with crossbeams.
