How important is consistency to you in a friendship?

I have people who run hot or cold. Don't care for that. Just be consistent. I consider it up there with kind and honest as most important friendship traits

It means everything to me!!! I can count how many friends I have like that on one hand. They are invaluable to me. I try to be the same. I'm always there to listen, support, love w/out judgement.

I don't understand the hot and cold thing.
Not sure who those people really are.
I go for consistency always.
