I want to travel around europe but not alone.

I'm 19 and I don't have any friend interested in going with me, so where can I look for a partner to go on a trip with me? is there a web page for so?

thanks!

I have met many people traveling together, some where live long friends, others met when underway, and some met by the 'I want to travel and need a partner' idea you also have.
Many of these partnerships worked out very good, but quite a few had many stresses.
But there is not rule about which will go bad.

Before you travel, talk about what you want, what you expect, how much money you will be able to bring and what you think is important to do with the money.
If you want to go to the top of the Eiffel tower and do not mind to spend the money for that, but your travel-partner just wants to walk around its foot to go to the nearest bar to get blasted, neither of you will enjoy the travel to the fullest.
But if both of you are sightseeing people or both of you are the drinking kind there is no problem.

If you can not find a travel companion before you travel, still safe and read up on your chosen countries, you might find someone last minute, or when you are already traveling.

I have never tried to meet up with someone and like traveling alone, (although at first it was hard as well as fun,) but I have seen many people joining for a couple of weeks. But I have also seen traveling partners breaking up, often after a few days of misery or breaking long-standing friendships, because of lack of talking before traveling, sometimes with rather drastic financial problems coming out of it.

I'm travelling in Europe in a few weeks with a girl that I met on-line. We both meet on a message board for a tv show that we both liked. We became friends and then started to email and talk on the phone. She and I both love to travel but had trouble finding friends who want to go overseas. So last year she proposed taking a trip together for this year. If all goes well (which we don't doubt) then we plan on being travel buddies for other trips.

So perhaps cultivate those friendships with people you really connect with on a message board or some other site that you frequent often. As always though, be caustious in who you talk to and really get to know them before arranging to meet in some foreign local! Saftey first!
