The hole has caused some color discoloration of yellow and red. But the screen behind this is okay..What can I do?

You would have to replace the screen element which usually costs just as much as a new monitor. It's generally not worth it unless you're lucky enough to find another monitor of the same brand that has a different problem and combine the parts.

This is pretty complicated work, however.

Have whoever ruined your monitor buy you a new one. Cost to replace the screen would not be cost effective.

How did you manage that??
You almost certainly can't repair it yourself, so unless it's under warranty or some kind of insurance protection, it'd probably work out cheaper to replace it with a new one.

basicly get a new one. I assume this is a LCD display and once they are broken theres no going back.
