It sounds like you have zero tolerace for alcohol. You should filter this in the beginning of your relationships, and not expect people to change because of your preference. If you dont approve of alcohol - dont date a person that drinks - period.

OMG. Perhaps it would help if you discontinue aligning yourself with persons who display excessive addictive behavior. You sound like an intelligent person. I'm sure there are activities you can investigate that require good mental health. So, go to the library, go to a coffee kiosk, go to college, community or other, groups that explore exposure in areas of your interest. There are more healthy personalities out here than those who are addicted.

I have a question for you.
Where are you meeting these types of individuals or what are you doing at the time of meeting? I am not trying to judge anyone I am trying to see the whole circumstance which you are placeing yourself.

Here is an example- If you tolerate going to a party with a new guy you met and he is drinking it is probably not his first time.
If you attend a seminar on saturdy night which is encouraging to others and meet a new guy, he probably is pretty straight and narrow. Do you understand my meaning?
