Huh? Bush lost the popular vote in '00 (in which I voted for him) and won by like <2% in '04. I have a hard time calling either of those a spanking. And I don't remember the Dems bashing W back in 1999, but maybe my memory is a little fuzzy. How did those '06 elections go again?
