Please...I was less than 5 years old when I was first introduced to Benny Hill. And I thought he was one of the funniest men around. Very cheeky fellow he was. So, at age 11, he should have, at least, seen something that was a Monty Python-style viewing.

I think that's when I started watching monty python.
"And now for something completely different!!!!

maybe not that movie they made after the series.
It think it was called "the meaning of life", although I could be wrong. They had a sketch in it called "can we have your liver?". JUST NASTY!!
You should watch that movie first and be the judge.
All I can say is that I am really glad I didn't see that as a youngster. I don't remember them having anything really gory like that before. But the other sketches in the movie are a riot (the grim reaper - "oh, that puts a damper on the whole evening now, doesn't it?", etc..., after life mints, etc...)
It's just that "Liver" scene that's somewhat inappropriate and I thought out of character for monty python.

BLOCK THE LIVER SCENE!!!

I don't think so. I used to watch Holy Grail as a kid and the others. I just don't think most kids will get the humor as a lot of adults don't either. It's smart comedy.
