I loved all of her YA books like "Fifteen", "Jean and Johnny", "Sister of the Bride", and "The Luckiest Girl". What I found about them was that not only were they fun to read but a lot of the situations that her teenage characters went through in the late 1950's/early 1960's were quite similar to situations that teens go through today, especially with things like dating. I also loved the illustrations in the books too. Beth and Joe Krush did an excellent job of illustrating, and so too did Louis Darling with the Beezus, Ramona and Henry books. They made the books even more enjoyable.

Happy reading to you! :-)

The Mouse and the Motorcycle is my favorite, but I love all of her works. It's still fun to reread about Ramona from time to time.
