Yes, I think there is life in our solar system. It currently is confirmed on the planet Earth.

Yes, I think there are other life forms out there in the solar system. Probably, it most likely consists of bacteria and/or viruses.

Is there other INTELLIGENT life out there? **Nobody knows.** You are correct in stating that there is no evidence that there is NOT life out there. But there is also NO evidence that there IS life out there. The truth is that we don't know. And videos on Youtube do NOT constitute reliable evidence -- just more uncorroborated and unconfirmable footage placed on the internet (surely one of the greatest sources of truth and enlightenment ever known to mankind (HAH!! Note the heavily dripping sarcasm in that statement!!).

Absence of evidence that there is NOT life out there does not constitute proof that there IS life out there, just as the absence of evidence of life does not prove that there is no life out there. It means we have not yet learned enough to be able to detect anything other than what we would recognize as life.

Now please, get down off your soapbox and stop ranting at us.

Before you make such outlandish accusations, you should make an effort to check your facts. As you say, truth is out there - but it seems that you don't want to hear the truth that the government isn't lying to you. There are plenty of images of the far side of the Moon, but there are no alien bases there (big surprise). Scientists would know immediately if NASA was airbrushing these images.

That man was sentenced for hacking into military computers. That doesn't mean he was about to uncover some imaginary conspiracy about aliens.

Do you have some sort of scientific proof of a NASA coverup? How about evidence of little green men visiting Earth? There is no such evidence because there is no coverup.

A lack of evidence doesn't mean that there is evidence. If I were to wrongly accuse someone of murder, but I had no evidence, would that mean that the person was automatically guilty? Of course not. Sometimes, a lack of evidence means that there is no evidence.

I do not think there is any life in our own solar system. We've done enough research to know that nothing remotely close to life forms we are used to exist, and any life forms that may exist are things we've never seen nor could we explain.
Is there life in the galaxy or universe? I think there is a good possibility.
As to your paranoia of cover-ups, think about it this way. The government couldn't cover up that a President was getting a BJ in the hallway and the only two people present were the President and Monica. A cover up by two people is much easier than anything else, and you think thousands of people can easily cover up proof of aliens?
People were sentenced to 70 years for hacking computers because it is a federal crime, grand theft, and larceny. Of course they are going to get convicted. Also, the convicting party is the government, who is also the party attacked. If some one attacked you and you had the ability to decide sentence, wouldn't you want to give them the harshest punishment possible?
Do some of your own research. Also, remember that wikipedia is a user made encyclopedia. Anyone can put anything in there, and as long as no one removes it, it then becomes "real."

mark- I understand that you are very interested in the UFO/alien subject. Your questions and comments reveal a passionate viewpoint. However, this really is not the appropriate category for such things. You should check out the Alternative category under Science. There you will find Paranormal. This would be the proper category for such discussions. Attempts to come into the Astronomy category to convert nonbelievers is a useless waste of time.

I myself do believe in extraterrestrial life but so what? Who really cares? Every person has an opinion on almost every subject you can think of. If opinions are what you want then seek out the Polls and Surveys category under Entertainment and Music.

I think the odds are against us being the ONLY life in even our galaxy... let alone the rest of the universe. There are billions of stars and solar systems and planets out there... I think we are the only intelligent life in OUR solar system but after all, we are just one of many... Keep in mind that we are not the only INTELLIGENT life in even our own planet. Dolphins have higher IQ's and speak more languages. They are held back from doing things because they are stuck in the water without the use of thumbs.

Tris is the space shuttle sts-75. the broken tether mission. you will see round objects with a pulsating black hole all over the place. they are the aliens. beneath the screen people have made comments. pay attention to the ones with times. remember, debris and rock go in a straight line. alien spacecraft turn. 90 degrees, 180 degrees, whatever the hell they want to do. there not rocks. they are the same craft, exactly the same craft. though they seem to vary in size. also pay attention to the audio, very important.

With all the stars that make up our galaxy and others way out there seen and unseen think about how many of those have planetary systems and ones that can support life.
God created the heavens and the Earth.I believe that God is infinite and so is the universe because He alone made it alone.There nothing else.

If there is life in our solar system, NASA wouldn't keep it a secret, because if they could prove the existance, they could get almost unlimited funding... And i think that there is a possiblity, definatly very likely on Mars, and Europa, possibly Titan. But nothing higly evolved.. Somthing microbial... like extremophiles..

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, yes. Since "we" are in our solar system, I'd say there's a good chance of life here.
