Hi all,
Just wondering what y'all might think on how I might cut a vinyl rail fencing. It's 1 1/2 X 5 1/2 X 16. Sorry, I don't know how thick the walls are.
Would a Hack Saw with "fine teeth" work? How can I get the cuts perfect?

Thanks all!

GREAT Material !! We put an extra-long fine-tooth blade on the saws-all, and mounted a mitre-box on the back of each ATV. That way we could make nice straight cuts out in the field. We had about 4000 linear feet of that fencing to put in.

Of course the KEY is to place as many of your POSTS as possible at the correct spacing so the 16 foot lengths are just able to fit. I believe it was 16 foot on center for the posts, but... as with all things to be cut:

Measure THREE times, cut ONCE.

GOOD LUCK

The hack saw will work. Don't try to use a power saw. It will melt its way through and make a big mess. The home improvement store will have a "cable saw". This is just a piece of 1/8" dia cable about two feet long with rings at each end. Pull it back and forth across where you want to cut and it burns right through and makes a clean cut.

i would rent or borrow a chop saw of 10" which would handle the railings.
