All the fawning, foaming-at-the-mouth, and orgiastically frenzied worship of celebrity. It nearly makes my skin crawl.
I've never understood why someone famous is somehow deemed to be superhuman -- i.e. far above the rest of use. In the case of film stars, they're merely actors who appeared in a hit film that a lot of people saw. How does that make them fascinating or admirable?
But of course, it's worse with the way that scandal is now an admirable thing to have happen. Some unstable star like Spears or Lohan has a drunken smash-up, or comes unglued and cuts off all her hair, or has some other kind of psychotic meltdown, and people think it's exciting and wonderful. Forgive me for sounding like an old poop at only 45 years of age, but I can recall when people still had a shred of decency and decorum.
There are other things that get on my nerves, but that's the biggest one.

People who TRY to be kool or funny get on my nerves a lot. Usually they just end up looking stupid and really annoying. And people who try to do the "too kool to smile" thing even if it's against their usual nature so they can be "kool" is just dumb. Also, some of them can become so desperate to make another person laugh that they'll start throwing the stupidest jokes you've ever heard.
Why can't they all just be themsevles?! I feel like my best friend has died because he's just not the same person he was a year ago. :(

Young kids on an airplane. Probably not the nicest thing to say but it's true The screaming when the pressure bugs them and their parents who don't control them.

when doing something "right" in the end, you get burned good. like one time i tried helping someone on another Q&A site, later i was suspended for "harassing" the user. since when is acting like a good samaritan labels you as a harassing bad guy? i left the site and found a place here on answers. i wont be "helping" anyone here, i learned my lesson..cold hearted? yeh, well thats the way it goes
