Ron doesn't seem to the right guy for her. I thought Victor Krum was more like it......... Or maybe Harry Potter........

The whole Ron/Hermione thing has been building up since the 4th book.. They had a love/hate friendship and most of the time they were fighting is because one was jealous of the other, for example when Ron found out that Hermione had kissed Viktor Krum he got all mad at her and got with Lavender Brown and in turn Hermione got with Cormac McLaggen who was a real git, just to get him back.. but it's been building up for a while although i didn't really see an actual relationship coming until the 6th book. Also i really like the idea of Ginny & Harry. Hermione & Harry would have been really boring, the main guy with the main girl.. totally leaving Ron out.. just doesn't work, besides i can never see Harry thinking of Hermione in that way, even before he said in the 7th book that he loved Hermione like a sister, we already figure that out earlier on, it's just too weird. I'm happy with who they ended up marrying, just some of the names they named their kids were weird.. I liked James, Lily & Rose, but no idea where Hugo & Albus Severus came from.. I understand the sentiment but it's just a weird name.. funniest one though was Draco's son Scorpious, i cried with laughter.

Based ONLY on the movies - it seemed like there was always a bit of chemistry between Ron & Herimone. Always figured they would be together... (Harry Potter's too "tragic" a figure to end up with the MAIN female lead -- and Krum was more of a one-shot character) ...so it wasn't surprising in the least to me.

Now if Herimone had ended up with Malfoy -- now THERE would've been an interesting relationship. (All that hatred is just one step away from passion!)

Through all 7 books it is obvious that they like each other. Boys ridicule the girls they like, and he does that to her all the time. In book 4, it was obvious because he accused her of "fraternizing with the enemy". In book 6, it was obvious because she was terribly upset that he was going out with Lavender, and went our with Cormac McLaggen to upset him. He also was upset when he hard about Hermione snogging with Krum, and asked Harry if he thought it was true. Then they kissed at the end of book 7, it was only fitting that they got married.

Harry never had feelings for Hermione more than love like a sister and a friend.

harry is far too immature to be able to live with a girl who has no interest in quidditch (and so is victor krum).

ron has fairly old-fashioned ideas about what sorts of lives 'men' and 'women' live - and hermione too is very conventional in her ideas. ron and hermione will be able to live comfortably side-by-side, neither intruding on the other's world. harry and ginny are going to have a much closer and more intense relationship: she will be as interested in his work as an auror as he is in her career with the holyhead harpies.

Coz they r the best couple in HP series. They hav always fancied each other and r possessive abt each other all through the series...but they were too scared to admit it...Ron has a gud humour sense and doesnt get angry as fast as Harry does and soo can handle emotional Hermoine well and take her bossy attitude at times.

Harry loved Ginny and alwys considered Hermione a sisterly friend. Ron and HErmionemarried each other becaudsethey loved each other. Period.

And besides, I have heard girls say that Rupert Grint has his own charm.

Becuase ron and hermione are the cutest couple other than ginny and harry!!!!!!

oh and hermione is way to emotional for harry. Ron on the other hand is ok with hermione being emotional, it fits in with his rage.

I wasn't surprised at all because every time she gets scarred she grabs Ron's hand. they're relationship has been building since the 3rd book.
