Lots and ots of loose plot line and unfulfilled marketing promises/ploys. Very disappointed. - Also and who needs an encyclopedia of wizardry to fill in the blanks form a book! This research effort should have been done and incorporated into the books before/while they were written.

You couldn't see Voldemort's defeat and death coming? That was so obvious before "Half-Blood Prince" even came out. The series it's was always about good triumphing over evil, and Voldemort was evil. There was no way he could be saved, and she'd already said in an interview that all the characters accept Voldemort were redeemable.

I just finished it and I have to say I was disappointed. The last 50 pages were exciting, that's about it. I did enjoy the last chapter 19 years later though. I thought that was cute.
