Should i dry them for a year or plant them right away

Dry them, wash them in dilute chlorox (10%, 1 part chlorox, 9 parts water) for about 1 minute, dry them again. Store cool, but not in the refrigerator, until next season.

It's a little late in the year for planting watermelon seeds. It's probably too late to set out established plants, too. Wait til next year.

BTW - you'll have better sucess if you use seeds from different watermelons and plant them alongside each other. This promotes good cross-pollenation for a healthier crop.

Depends on where you live. Unless you live in the real southern part of the country, wait until next year.

They will germinate after they dry, so, save them for next year.
