If I were you? I would learn all I can about all religions and encourage others to do the same. Make it part of the classroom not to teach just one but all as if it were history.
This might lead to less conflict. Teach love, teach independence, teach forgiveness and always be ready to be open minded to consider new ways.
If you were me? You would have learned more about respect, self discipline, and you would share my values on love and forgiveness. The goal is not to have one religion but to be curious and learn about all.
As a president or Prime Minister, I would help find peace among all nations and then we could work on things that matter like how to stop nature from being so cruel.

If I am the president or PM...have you find the word" IF"?
In the same manner if you & me , and visa versa we can imagine: we cannot predict the correct things:
But high thinking and simple living will lead us a happy life :
Why you are thinking the in other ways: You are alway YOU
WORK hard:
Do your best to your family, society and nation
Be kind hearted with all: love all
The you are always a happy and successful- happy person in the world

I will never be you nor will you ever be me. But I would teach the whole world the Universal path of Krishna Consciousness-
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here,(the less intelligent ones, (That's us)) and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. This wisdom can change the whole world to be heaven on earth. But no one wants it. They want heaven with no steps to attain it. So what to do. I will do my part and tell others this sublime wisdom which will give real peace.
For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line.

I would teach a moral code that encourages people to think of the impact of their choices on other people. I would try to have selfishness be a trait that is not celebrated but rather to be avoided. I think that each and every person needs to think differently before there can be any serious change in the world. Sadly, this seems impossible to me.

Because when we are us, we can get together and make big fat wet sloppy changes and rock the boat and get some all over us! Wheeeeeee. It's like jumping in a pile of leaves. Quick, rake some up so we can jump again!
